ABOUT ME
So why this Blog?
Thought Clarity.
As an entrepreneur, I a m always trying to bridge the gap between whats possible and whats probable. And for me to achieve this I need absolute clarity of thought which then gets translated into clarity of action.
And the easiest way to achieve thought clarity is to pen down my thoughts in a systematic way. But that requires discipline and a key aspect of discipline is accountability.
And what better way to to build accountability than to write thoughts publicly about building products that people people want and a life that I want .
Sharing my learnings.
I started my startup journey into startups almost 10 years back with absolutely no idea about startups, I didn't know anyone had ever started or worked in a startup.
As someone who was an absolute newbie to the wild world of startups, there was a lot of mis information about what it takes to build a venture, raise venture capital, hire a team, find customers and so on.
That's a list of false dichotomies, most companies fall somewhere in between.
The topics of Venture funding v/s bootstrapping or growth v/s profitability need not be as polarised as it is portrayed. Most good companies actually do both well.
Thats when I found the foundational knowledge shared by Paul Graham, Ben Horowitz, and others like him to be very beneficial. But the context of building a startup in US for a global audience and building a startup for Indian audience is very different and thats where I see there is a big gap.
PS: There is a dire need for a book such as “The Hard things about Hard things” in the Indian context and I hope someone writes that soon.
A few founders, venture capitalists and content creators are trying to bridge the gap but I see problems in their approach.
They focus a lot on inspirational content rather than actionable content and try to sensationalize things beyond necessary to get clickbaity.
When you are trying to build a living of off making content you want to attract the largest TAM and that lies in millions of wanterpreneures and not hundred of early stage founders.
I have no ulterior motive no course or book to sell via the blog. This Blog is not a funnel to something but a tool to help me and you. I hope you like what you read and I look forward to receiving feedback.
